Kanopy is an on-demand film streaming service that allows FSPL cardholders free access to start streaming films instantly. Films can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku. It is also available on your television with the Amazon Fire TV Stick. PA Dot Practice Tests

The library is partnering with Driving-Tests.org to offer free Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) practice tests to library patrons. The new service includes free tests specifically based on Pennsylvania’s DMV materials. This program includes multiple car, motorcycle and CDL practice tests, on-line driver’s manuals (car, motorcycle and CDL) and a FAQ section with detailed answers to over 100 DMV related questions.  It is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools that let users hear selections read aloud, make them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify text, and mask portions of the screen for greater visibility on the practice tests.  Get started on the path to driver safety and education today  by clicking the image above and good luck on your exam.

Accelerated Reader


The Frank Sarris Public Library is proud to partner with the Canon-McMillan School District in helping your children read to succeed through the use of the Accelerated Reader Program.

Canon-McMillan students can use the exclusive AR computer to test during regular library hours. Students need their AR user name and password, which are provided by the school district.

Parents are reminded that AR tests are closed-book, and the student should complete the test independently.

Thanks to the Grable Foundation’s generous funding of the Young Library Explorers program, we have 69 kits for infants, toddlers, and elementary school aged (through fourth grade) children. These themed kits are filled with age-appropriate educational toys and other materials, and they are now available for borrowing.
