Zachariah OHora Presents: My Cousin Momo

Join us at the library for a very special event as Zachariah OHora, author and illustrator, presents his book My Cousin Momo, as part of Pennsylvania’s One Book, Every Young Child early literacy initiative.  Now in its 13th year, One Book, Every Young Child is a valuable program that highlights the importance of early literacy development in preschoolers and the significance of reading early and often to children, as well as engaging them in conversation and other activities around books.  My Cousin Momo is aimed at children ages 3 to 7 and is Pennsylvania’s One Book, Every Young Child 2018 selection.  In Washington County, our library will be hosting Zachariah OHora on Tuesday, April 10.  In the morning, Mr. OHora will give a series of presentations about his books to area schoolchildren, who will also participate in activities highlighting Mr. OHora’s other books and the theme of My Cousin Momo, which focuses on acceptance of other people’s differences.  A public session will start at 11:30 a.m.  If you are interested in attending the public session, please register by calling the library at 724-745-1308.
