Join expert, Tim Choltco, from the Orchid Society of Western PA, to learn how to care for this botanical wonder. Tim will share interesting orchid facts, the basics of orchid care and will have different orchids on display. Tim has been growing orchids for 35 years and is a well known orchid speaker, in the Pittsburgh Area, including for Phipps Conservatory. No registration required. This is a free program. Parking is free and located in our Murdock Street parking lot.

Have a reluctant reader? A child with a penchant for puppies? Come to the library once a month for the opportunity to read to a therapy dog. A great motivator for reluctant readers and treat for those that love dogs. Our therapy dog has been trained by Therapy Dogs International and is looking forward to all the stories patrons will read to them.
