Included below is information about our current operations to adhere with safety guidelines set out by the CDC and the State of Pennsylvania.

During our public service hours, we are open for browsing, limited computer use, and study room use.

Twenty-five patrons will be permitted in the building at one time so please be considerate of others in our community when browsing.

Masks on! All patrons and staff will be required to wear a mask when inside the building. If you have a medical condition that precludes you or your family from wearing a mask, you may still borrow items using our curbside pickup. Our curbside pickup has changed and is now upon request, by appointment only. Place holds on our website, or give us a call at 724-745-1308 x1. We will take your requests and call you when you can pick up your items from our curbside pickup spot in our parking lot.

Patrons should maintain a six foot distance from staff and other patrons.

Patrons can browse the collections in our adult, children’s and young adult departments.  Traffic flow and access points within the library have changed; please leave strollers at home.  Chairs and couches have been removed from the adult, young adult, and children’s areas and all puzzles, toys, and games have also been removed.

All items returned to the library will still be quarantined for 3-5 days upon return prior to being checked in.  No overdue fines will accrue during the quarantine period.

We have three computers available for public use on the first floor only – two by appointment and one for walk-ins.  Computers may be used for one hour.

We have three study rooms available; study rooms may be used for two hours/use.

We are still not taking donations at this time.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you soon!
