Friends of the Frank Sarris Public Library
The Friends of the Frank Saris Public Library is a nonprofit organization that engages and inspires individuals, businesses, and philanthropic organizations to advocate, fundraise, and provide critical support for the Frank Sarris Public Library and its programs.
We believe that libraries strengthen communities by providing free and equal access to information and technology, and that they are vitally important to maintaining thriving neighborhoods. Therefore, the Friends provides the community with opportunities to participate in the success of the Library through membership, volunteerism, community partnerships, special events, and literacy programs.
Our mission is to strengthen, steward, and advocate for the resources necessary to sustain the collections and programs of the Frank Sarris Public Library.
Our vision is that the residents of Canonsburg Borough, Cecil and North Strabane Townships will always have free access to a quality public library – one that serves as the core of strong neighborhoods and is valued as a fundamental and necessary force of economic vitality and quality of life in our community.
If you are interested to join our team, please contact Bill Belleno, Friends of Frank Sarris Public Library at email@example.com.
Many Ways to Give to your Library
Community support helps keep your Library doors open and a wide range of programs and activities available. Your gifts of time, money, and materials help ensure a sustainable future for this community Library and are especially important during these challenging financial times for public libraries. Gifts of all sizes are deeply appreciated.
How can you help?
Your generous gifts are always appreciated and allow us to continue to offer the services you love. Please contact Peggy Tseng for information. firstname.lastname@example.org
Have fun while helping your community! Become a member of the Frank Sarris Public Library team by volunteering at your Library. Print a volunteer application. Return the volunteer application to the main circulation desk and someone will be in touch.
Many businesses in our service area have donated resources and money to show their support of a strong and vibrant library in their communities. Your thoughtfulness and generosity are deeply appreciated. Please contact Peggy Tseng for more information. email@example.com
