Are you ready for some summer fun?  Join our Teen Advisory Board for a Field Day event on Saturday, July 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Field Day will take place at Pavilion #2 at Cecil Park, rain or shine. Field Day is for participants ages 5 and up. Teams can sign up for one of two divisions – family or teen.  Teams may have between 2-6 members/team. There will be eight fun events like an egg and spoon relay race, obstacle course, five pin soccer, water balloon toss, and more.  Teams will be awarded points in each event based on team performance.  The team from each division with the most points after completing all events will receive an FSPL Field Day trophy and a $40 prize.

Teams may come anytime between 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and do not have to be present to win; however, teams must finish all events to have the best shot at winning their division.

Registration is now open.  Complete the registration form on-line or have a library staff member complete the form for you on your next visit to the library.  Walk-ins will also be welcome the day of the event between 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.  No walk-ins accepted after 11:00 a.m.

Participants who are fully vaccinated do not need to wear a face mask.  Face-masks are recommended for non-vaccinated participants when social distancing during games is not possible.  Disposable face masks will be available.

Please dress for the event and day – tennis shoes, comfortable clothing, sunscreen, etc.
