Celebrate National Poetry Month and enter the Express Yourself Poetry Contest sponsored by the FSPL Teen Advisory Board.  The contest is open to adults, teens and children ages 7 and up who live in our service areas of Canonsburg, Cecil Township and North Strabane Township. Returning to Curbside Service

As cases of COVID-19 infections rise across the state of Pennsylvania, Frank Sarris Public Library has made the decision that, starting Monday, November 30th, we are returning to curbside only service. Free On-Line Driver’s Education Programs

The Frank Sarris Public Library announces a partnership with Driving-Tests.org, a company dedicated to driver safety and education, to offer free Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) practice tests to library patrons. The new service includes free tests specifically based on Pennsylvania’s DMV materials. Library Luncheon and Raffle Fundraiser

Save the date – Sunday, November 19 – The Board of Trustees of the Frank Sarris Public Library Association will hold a luncheon and raffle fundraiser at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe to benefit the library. Teen Advisory Board helps spread the joy of reading!

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) recently spent part of their Saturday to assist the Literacy Council of Southwestern PA (the Literacy Council) with the Baby Book Bag project.  Through the Baby Book Bag project the Literacy Council strives to promote literacy from birth.  The Baby Book Bag features tote bags which are hand-stuffed by community volunteers; screen-printed with a special logo; filled with children’s books, literature outlining the importance of reading to babies from birth, and other materials; then distributed…
