Baby Book Worms

Ages: Birth- 12 months with an adult. You can’t start too early at the library! In this 30 minute program babies will gain contact with language through stories, rhymes, and finger plays taking their first steps toward literacy and a lifelong love of books.

Toddler Tales

Ages: 2-3 ½ with an adult. They can walk, talk – and they can learn!  This 30 minute program adds crafts and fun to stories for further encouragement on the way to becoming lifelong readers.

Story Time

Ages: 1-5 years with an adult.  Enjoy this 30 minute program listening to a story, singing songs and making a craft while developing a love for books. This program is good for moms with children of different ages.

Little Picassos

Ages: 2-5 years with an adult.   Join us for some creative, open-ended art activities. We use materials such as crayons, markers, glue, clay, paint, and even glitter.   It’s messy and lots of fun!

Wiggles and Giggles

Ages: 2-5 years with an adult.  Have fun and keep fit at the library. Wiggles and Giggles is a 30-40 minute movement program that includes some yoga, exercises, dancing and of course the parachute.   We have a whole lot of fun!

Summer Reading Camp (SRC)

Grades 1-8

Summer Reading Camp is a theme based camp for school age children.  We spend the week listening to stories, doing crafts, playing games, and making new friends.  The children are divided into two age groups, grades 1 through 3 and grades 4 through 8, where the children engage in age appropriate activities.   Keep watching for information about Summer Reading Camp!

Lego Club

Ages: Preschool* through Teen. Calling all Master Builders! Come put your skills to work at Lego Club. No registration is required: drop in any week to play. Team up with other builders or create your own worlds with our large Lego collection. Up for an even bigger challenge? Try our Mindstorm robotics sets!

*Lego Club is open to all kids old enough to play with small-size Lego bricks: adult discretion advised.

Teen Advisory Board

Students in grades 7 – 12 meet monthly to plan, organize and lead activities that will engage and benefit library patrons and members of the community.  Planned activities can be fun, educational, or service related, and they can be for anyone of any age. Meet and make friends, express your opinions, learn and exercise new skills and have fun!

As the coordinator, my role is to encourage, guide and support the students while allowing them the freedom to use their creativity, interests and excitement to drive the group.

Page Turners (High School Students) Book Club

High school students meet throughout the year to identify, select, read and discuss books.  At times, other activities related to the selected book may be incorporated into the meeting.  For example, the members may read a book, watch the movie based on the book and have a discussion about both.  This book club is run by Teen Advisory Board members.

Roleplaying Club: Dungeons & Dragons

Ages: 14+

Heroes Wanted!  Join epic adventures across fantastic realms and thwart the forces of evil with our Roleplaying Club!

Dungeons & Dragons is a cooperative, narratively driven tabletop game played with dice and voice.  We always welcome newcomers to our campaign, new or veteran! First time players are encouraged to come an hour early for setup.
